The surgery offers 10 minute appointments with the Doctor.
We offer pre-bookable appointments which are available Monday to Friday with the doctor.
Please be prepared to give some information about the reason for appointment as it helps us to direct you to the right professional.
For example, it may take days to see a GP in a routine appointment to have your BP checked whereas the same objective can be achieved in a Health Care Assistants clinic.
The HCA can access Practice Nurse and doctors for advice at all times and any changes needed in your management can be made.
GPs will simply direct you to the Nurse led clinic.
Other examples of nurses appointments are Smear tests, Asthma checks, Weight management, Diabetes management, and for referrals to the midwives after a positive pregnancy test.

Please do not book appointments to request your repeat prescriptions, completion of forms/passports etc.
If any forms need completing, they can be discussed and handed to staff and if you need to see a doctor to complete these, you will be given an appointment outside of normal surgery times.
